My husband and I have been going to the Upstairs Salon for many years and would not ever think about making a change. Ursula, the owner of the Salon, is an accomplished hairdresser who always aims to please her customers (and does). The ambiance of the salon is extremely friendly. Most all of the other stylists have been with her for many, many years. The location at Old World Village is extremely accessible and with lots of easy parking. I would highly recommend you make an appointment with Ursula or one of the other stylists - you won't be dissappointed.

The Upstairs Salon is conveniently located with easy access from the parking lot. Once inside the staff greets you with a friendly welcome and assures your comfort. The facility is bright and clean and offers a variety of beauty services and products. The best part is the skill of the hair stylists. In particular I go to Ursula who does extraordinary coloring and provides a cut and styling that is easy to manage and that fits my individual taste. Ursala is always concerned with my requests and wishes and explains what I need to do to keep my style when I do my own hair at home. She is a perfectionist and when I am ready to leave I feel renewed and confident with my new "do". It is without hesitation that I can recommend the Upstairs Salon.

I have been going to Jill to get my nails done for at least 13 years, if not longer. She moved to the Upstairs Salon when it used to really be upstairs and followed the salon when it moved to Old World. Jill is the best! She does not use a drill, she's as American as they come, and she really knows her craft. When I started having problems with acrylics, she moved me to fiberglass, which I loved. But now, she has switched me over to gels and I really love them. It takes a little longer to apply, but it is well worth it. Jill is so friendly, you feel like family in no time. You will come to love her four-legged menagerie and the stories that go along with them as much as she does too. Thank you Jill for all the years of "girl bonding" and here's to many, many more.

I wanted to give this salon the absolute highest rating I could for making me feel like a princess for my Valentine's wedding day. Helga Anderson spent a sleepness night (as she put it) going over and over my partial up and down do and believe, me, it was the most beautiful do I have ever had. Jodi did a great job on my makeup for the wedding. Everything stayed on even up to 6 hours later when we took our studio shots, even the lipstick!!!!! Yes, I did shed many tears during the ceremony and even that stayed on. Helga even squeezed in my Maid of Honor who did not even have an appt, to do her hair, as well. She looked lovely, as well. Helga arrived at 7am on a Saturday to get the ball rolling as my wedding was at 10am, there in the village at Old World Old Catholic Church. What a great experience. I would recommend the salon and having any event there at the church and reception hall. Thank you so very much!

I love going to Upstairs Salon. It is friendly, well kept, and well appointed. You can take care of a full range of beauty needs with profession help and guidance. I have been going to Verlaine for years for color and great hair cuts. She absolutely knows her business. She cuts to flatter your face and colors to enhance your complexion. She is an artist. Oh and my husband has also gone to her for years. She keeps him looking great.

In a large city like Huntington Beach this salon offers small town comfort. The stylist keep up on their education so the can offer the latest styles and techniques. I have been a client for many years and have tried different salons and always seem to coma back to Upstairs Salon. I have never felt like just a customer but a friend. Keep up the good work!
